Westat will work with the Coalition of National Cancer Cooperative Groups and Oracle Corporations Health Informatics Consulting Practice.
The projects goals are to streamline and centralize some regulatory and administrative tasks to allow the cancer cooperative groups to concentrate resources on the design and conduct of trials; facilitate access for the general public and health care providers interested in participating in clinical trials; and develop a simplified process for enrolling patients in clinical trials using the CTSU as the single point of entry.
